172pp. Quarto [30 cm] Tan cloth over boards with a red ink stamped title on the spine. Pictorial endsheets. Very good. The boards are just a tiny bit warped, and there is a previous owner's small ink stamp on the half title page. In a very good dust jacket, with subtle age-toning and rubbing.
Foreword by Marshall Sprague. A collection of 195 historic Colorado photographs. From the dust jacket- "During his lifetime, Jackson took thousands of photographs, not only in the west, but in Mexico, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia, including the Siberian wilderness. But it was in the American West and Colorado in particular, that he began his career as a photographer and where he produced some of his most memorable work."
