251pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Pinkish-orange cloth over boards with the title stamped in black ink on the front board and backstrip. Publisher's light red top stain. Intricately illustrated endsheets. Very good. Ex-library. The spine is sunned and a little bit rolled. The rear endsheet is abraded and has several library markings. There is a library stamp on the title page, and there are several markings on the dedication page. There is a former owner's name on the recto of the frontispiece. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with numerous chips and closed tears along the edges and folds. Darkened, more so at the jacket's spine. The rear panel is lightly soiled, and there are two barely perceptible moisture stains on the spine.

With 80 illustrations and Maps. From the dust jacket- "Seeing America by motor is delightful. This charmingly illustrated book contains information about costs, rates and names of places to stay over night on a transcontinental trip. It proves that a motor jaunt across this country by one route, and back by another, costs no more than steamer fare alone to Europe and return."
