Comments

Voltaire's famous encyclopedic philosophical dictionary was first published in a single volume in 1764. Later editions were expanded to two volumes, nearly doubling the amount of articles. Entries are arranged alphabetically, touching on many varied themes and ideas while being generally critical of the Catholic Church.
