292pp. Octavo [19 cm] Light green cloth over boards with gilt lettering and decorative blind stamping on the backstrip and front board, and an oval illustrated paper label mounted to the front cover. Color frontispiece. Good plus. The edges of the spine and covers are lightly rubbed and bumped, and the spine is subtly rolled. The edges of the paper label on the front board are a bit chipped. There is light foxing on the text block edges. The endsheets are cracked along the hinge, and the crack in the rear endsheet has been neatly dabbed with glue. Bleiler checklist. Reginald 02820. Geoffrey D. Smith C-265. Clareson 145.

Illustrated by Henry Hutt. The sequel to In Search the Unknown, with a protagonist searching for exotic animals and encountering a mile-long worm and a three-eyed race.
