192pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Black cloth effect paper over boards with the title stamped in yellow ink on the backstrip. Very good. The spine ends and corners of the covers are moderately bumped. The endsheets are discolored, and there is a brief notation in pen on the front free endsheet. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with mild rubbing, and a number of small closed and open tears in the edges.

From the dust jacket- "Malenkov, now master of Russia, is himself rumoured to be ill; and from the struggle for succession emerges an almost unknown, Granitov. But in England is a man who, possessed of unusual extra-sensory powers, is remarkably receptive to Granitov's thoughts. Time after time the West is able to anticipate his moves; and in the confusion resulting from his final failure emerges the pattern of the break-up of Russian hegemony."
