623pp. Octavo 22 cm] Green cloth with elaborately decorative gilt and blind stamping on the boards and spine. Illustrated. Good only. The covers are mildly rubbed, and the underlying boards are exposed at the corners. There are several splits in the cloth along the joints. The longest split is 1 and 1/2" long. The cloth at the spine ends is slightly frayed. The endsheets are split along the hinges, and the text block is pulling away from the spine. There are faint contemporary notations in pencil on the front free endsheet and flyleaf. The text block is cracked a number of times.
