324pp. Octavo [19.5 cm] Red cloth over boards with gilt lettering on the spine and front cover, and an ostrich design stamped in white and black on the front cover. Very good. The extremities are mildly bumped and rubbed, and there are a couple of 5" long ripples in the cloth of the rear board. There are also corresponding ripples in the paper of the rear pastedown. The pages have occasional small stains. The text block is sturdy. Smith: H-16. Clareson 417. Listed in "American Lost-Race Fiction: The Stuart Teitler Collection," a catalog produced in 2008 by Serendipity Books of Berkeley, California.
