217pp. Sextodecimo [17 cm] Red cloth with silver stamping. The top edge has the publisher's black top stain. Deckled fore edges. Frontispiece illustration in black and white. Illustrated plate at p. 49. Very good. The spine and covers are mildly rubbed and bumped, and the spine is slanted and subtly sunned. There is a small loss from the paper of the front pastedown, and there is a contemporary owner's inscription on the front free endsheet. There are light numerical notations on the rear free endsheet. The book is sturdy.
