Losses from the jacket's spine and the immediately surrounding areas of the panels, have been filled in with another copy of the dust jacket. Price-clipped. Bleiler CSF.

From 333 - "Dr. Patrick Cory arrives at the site of an airplane accident to find that the great financier, Warren Donovan, is seriously injured. Cory removes him to his remote Arizona laboratory in a dying state. Aided by an unstable doctor, Schratt, he removes the brain from Donovan's dying body. Cory increases the size and the power of the brain until he can hold mental communication with it. Donovan's brain is so strengthened that it seizes control of Cory's body. Devoid of its own shell, the brain is totally unscrupulous, and turns to murder with its complete superiority over humans."
