349pp. Octavo [21 cm] Sea green cloth-effect paper over boards, with white lettering on the spine and front cover, and four white ink stamped single ruled lines on the front cover. Very good. The boards are just a little bit bowed, the spine is rolled, and the edges of the spine and covers are lightly bumped and rubbed. There is a previous owner's address label on the front free endsheet. The endsheets are mildly discolored, and the pages are tanned.
William H. McDougall spent three years in prison camps in Sumatra. He also wrote Six Bells Off Java.
