Comments

From the dust jacket- "Probably no city in the United States used stained glass more lavishly than Chicago did from the time of the Great Fire of 1871 to the Depression of the 1930s. Within these sixty years Chicago became a major art glass center, and local glassmen produced thousands of shimmering decorations of outstanding artistry and craftsmanship. After the serious setbacks of the Depression and World War II, the art continued , but in new directions, and is now enjoying a lively revival of interest and appreciation."
