178pp. Quarto [26 cm] 1/4 white paper with brown paper over boards, and a brown ink stamped title on the backstrip. Very good. The spine ends are a bit dinged, and the front cover is very slightly concave. There is a very small abraded area on the top edge of the front endsheet, and there is a previous owner's tiny embossed stamp on the front free endsheet. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with subtle sunning to the spine, and marginal edge wear.
From the dust wrapper- "Stained glass of the finest quality has graced religious and secular buildings in Australia since the colonial period. This is the first published study of that magnificent heritage. Jenny Zimmer traces the background and origins of Australia's imported stained glass, and documents the developments of local production from its humble beginnings in the mid-nineteenth century to the 'new glass' studios of today. The text is enhanced by more than 100 brilliant colour reproductions."
