114pp Sextodecimo [15.5 cm] Blue cloth with a faded title on the front cover, and decorative blind stamped borders on the covers. Good. The extremities are mildly rubbed and stained, and the underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. The cloth at the spine ends and along the joints is a little frayed. The subtly discolored endsheets are cracked along the hinges, and there is a contemporary owner's name and partial address on the front pastedown. The threads are visible in the inside margins of the pages here and there, however the book is still very sturdy. Flake/Draper 5837.
Nicholson wrote this, so that missionaries would not be entering the missionary field with little or no previous training.
