125pp. Sextodecimo [16 cm] 1/4 black grained leather with green, orange, and black printed paper over boards. Top edge gilt; other edges deckled. Very good. The extremities are mildly darkened and rubbed. There is a small loss from the leather at the head of the spine, and the underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges of the covers. There are notations in pen and pencil on the free endsheets, else the pages are clean.


The Roycroft artisan community founded by Elbert Hubbard in East Aurora, New York was the first and most successful purveyor of Arts and Crafts in the nation.
