825pp. Octavo [23.5 cm] 1/4 red cloth with rust colored paper over boards with titles in gilt on the backstrip, and pictorially stamped in red and lettered in black on the front covers. Volume 1 is in very good plus condition, and volume 2 is in near fine condition. The top edge of the front cover of volume 1 is just a little bumped. In very good dust jackets, with darkening, more so at the spines. The edges are subtly chipped, there is a small closed tear in the bottom edge of the jacket of volume 1, and there is a tiny open tear in the surface of the spine of the jacket of volume 2. With the 2 maps in the rear pocket of volume 1.
