Comments

Inscribed by Alta and Austin Fife on the half title page. From the dust jacket- "Here, we have not only the sufferings of the Saints, but their joy, their humor, their indestructable spirit. Not only the sanctity of the Church tradition, but its follies and absurdities and the gentile views are presented. For every miracle, there is an earthy tale; for every superstition, a lusty yarn; for every solemn polygamist, a rowdy legend; for every tragedy, a song. For sheer variety, color, and entertainment, Saints of Sage and Saddle is hard to beat."
