106pp. Sextodecimo [16 cm] Original blue cloth with the title in gilt on the front cover and spine, and a Masonic emblem stamped in gilt on the front cover. The front cover is mildly darkened and stained, and the gilt on the spine and front cover has faded. The spine ends are bumped. The front endpaper is a bit soiled, else, internally, very clean. Flake 3630a.

Comments

Samuel Henry Goodwin was past Grand Master of Masons in Utah. This is one of many different works attempting to articulate the parallels between Mormonism and Masonry, and a work which claims many of the Mormon rituals were in fact Masonic rituals.
