New York: Albert & Charles Boni, 1928. Second printing. Hardcover. 292pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Pale green cloth over boards with dark green ink stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Green and white patterned endpapers. Publisher's green top stain. The book is in very good condition. The spine is rolled, and has numerous very faint, small stains. The fore edge of the text block is lightly foxed, and there is a contemporary gift inscription on the half title page. In the dust jacket, illustrated by Reginald Marsh, in very good condition, with mild age-toning and foxing, and intermittent shallow closed tears and chips in the edges. There is a lengthy notation on the verso of the jacket. Item #42234

A second printing, in a very attractive dust jacket, of Tully's autobiographical novel about a poor Irish American growing up in small-town Ohio. The dedicatee was Tully's second wife, Marna.
