Large octavo [25 cm] Striated blue cloth over boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine, and a gilt stamped circular relief of George Washington's bust in profile on the front cover. Top edge gilt. Deckled fore edges. Engraved frontispiece portrait of George Washington. Very good condition. The extremities are moderately bumped and rubbed, and the backstrip and the top and fore edges of the front cover are sunned. There is a crack in the text block at the center, however the book is still very sturdy. A Masonic Temple of Philadelphia bookplate is mounted to the front pastedown.
