Description

149pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] 1/4 black cloth with orange cloth over boards, a silver stamped title on the spine, and a black ink stamped title on the front cover. Very good. There are a couple of ink stamps from a previous owner on the preliminary pages. In a very good dust jacket, with rubbing to the extremities, and sporadic small open tears in the edges.

Illustrated by Donald Carrick. A novel written by an author who actually lived through the tragic events described in the book, as Miss Uchida, and her family were among those who were uprooted from their homes and moved to the Japanese-American Relocation Center in Topaz, Utah.
