185pp. Oblong quarto [21.5 cm x 30 cm] 1/2 maroon cloth with natural woven beige cloth over boards. Near fine. The text block is just a little bit wavy. In a very good dust jacket, with yellowing, light soiling, and a handful of small closed edge tears.

With an Introduction by Dean Krakel, Managing Director of National Cowboy Hall of Fame. Fred Harman first became known through his comic strip "Red Ryder and Little Beaver," which was popular in newspapers, and later on the radio in the West in the thirties, forties and fifties.
