Description

2011pp. Thick quartos [26 cm] Full light brown leather with red and black gilt stamped leather spine labels. Good. The spines and covers are rubbed, and have large areas of mottling. A contemporary owner's name has been penned in calligraphy on the front covers. The hinges have been re-enforced. The pages have sporadic tidemarks, the majority of which are very light. The books are very sturdy. "Compliments of James T. Hammond" slips bound in at the front. James T. Hammond was the first Utah Secretary of State and the fourth Mayor of Logan.
