Signed by Heber J. Grant at the foot of a short typed letter on Beneficial Life Insurance Company letterhead, that is attached to the front free endsheet. Over the years we have seen many (many) signed books by Grant that were offered as gifts, and usually they are the same titles ('Heap O' Livin', 'Prince of Peace', etc.), but this is the first time that we have handled this book signed by Grant. This follows the familiar format of a short typed letter signed, but unlike all of the other Grant book gifts that we have handled over the years, this is Beneficial Life letterhead as opposed to LDS letterhead. Heber J. Grant help to found Beneficial Life Insurance company in 1905.
