[clxxxiv]; 271pp. Octavo [22 cm] Brown speckled leather with a gilt tooled spine, a gilt stamped red leather spine label, and double gilt ruled borders on the covers. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. With an engraved frontispiece illustration of Thomas Gray from an original painting by Richardson, and another engraved portrait of Thomas Gray following the contents pages. Very good. The boards are concave, and the spine and large sections of the boards are discolored. The spine and covers are also rubbed along the edges and joints. The edges of the endpapers are just a little darkened. The pages are very clean, and the binding is strong.
