Description

98pp. Octavo [23 cm] Thickly woven brown cloth over boards with gilt stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Publisher's black top stain; other edges deckled. Decorative brown endpapers. With numerous tipped-in illustrations (all present). Very good. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the front flyleaf. Many of the illustrations are slightly offset on the opposite pages. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with multiple small closed or thin edge tears.
