Octavo [24.5 cm] Red cloth over boards lettered and pictorially stamped in gilt and black ink on the front board. With three sample bindings mounted to the pastedowns (Deluxe leather, brown calf, and decorative cloth). White and brown floral endsheets. Very good, with moderate bumping and rubbing to the extremities, the underlying boards briefly exposed in a couple of areas along the edges, and the sample bindings offset on the free endsheets and flyleaves.


A salesman's dummy which includes Utah/Mormon content. With an illustration of the Mountain Meadow Massacre and John D. Lee at p. 276.
