"It had been the wish of Dan Katchongva, who was the son and successor of Yukiuma, that this message should be spread to the four winds. He was not successful in getting this message printed while he was alive- he died in February, 1972. But he then knew that his message was on the way to White Roots of Peace and Akwesasne Notes for publication. The message arrived with the notation, 'If in anyway you decide that printing this does not agree with your ways, you must not drive yourself doing it. I want you to be happy doing it, in return, I will be happy." We agree. And we are happy to help print this message." - White Roots of Peace
