Original Signed Handwritten Letter from Henry Miller to Irving Stettner (Dated August 28, 1979)

Letter [5 and 1/2" by 8 and 1/2"] handwritten, horizontally and vertically, on the recto, on Miller's letterhead, "Henry Miller, 444 Ocampo Drive- Pacific Palisades, California, 90272." With the envelope, torn at the head. The letter has a single short closed edge tear, and is darkened along the right edge. Else, very good.
A letter from Henry Miller to the internationally known New York watercolorist and poet, Irving Stettner, addressed to him in NY, NY. In the letter, Miller writes about some watercolor photos (Big Sur and a self-portrait) he has included (not present) that Stettner could use in his small literary journal, Stroker, a journal which frequently published Miller's work and the work of Paul Bowles. He also asks Irving to send 50 more Stroker issues for him to sign. Miller has signed the letter "Henry."
