All volumes, with the exception of volume 27, are in very good condition. The extremities are mildly rubbed and bumped, and the colors of the cloth bindings are a bit dulled. A handful of the spine ends are a bit more prominently bumped, and there are short splits in the cloth at the spine ends here and there. Minor marginalia in pencil in volume 1. The hinges of volume 27 are broken, and the text block is pulling away from the spine.
