276pp. Octavo [20.5 cm] Olive green cloth with lettering and pictorial stamping in purple and black. Map endpapers engraved by George Annand. Illustrated. The spine ends and corners of the covers are subtly bumped and rubbed, and there is a small ding along the bottom edge of the front cover. The jacket is trimmed short, is sunned at the spine, and is a little sunned on the panels. Each panel has a vertical crease that runs from the head to the foot. The ink is quite bright.
