400pp. Octavo [23 cm] Green cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles on the spine and front cover, and blind stamped decorative designs on the covers. Floral endpapers. The extremities are rubbed, and the covers are a bit stained. The cloth at the spine ends is frayed, and the underlying boards are exposed at the corners. The spine is slightly rolled back. There are stamps from a previous owner on the preliminary pages. The hinges are soft, and the text block is cracked multiple times. Pp. 273-288 are hanging on by a thread.
