319pp. Octavo [24.5 cm] 3/4 brown leather with brown cloth covered boards. Speckled text block edges. Ex-library, with few markings (traces of a library check out slip and pocket on the rear endsheet). The extremities are rubbed, the front cover is hanging on by a thread, and the rear cover is completely detached. There is a large loss from the leather at the foot of the backstrip, that measures 2 and 1/2 inches long. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners.
