Description

Octavo [23 cm] 3/4 green leather with marbled paper over boards. Marbled text block edges. With 51 hand-colored plates, including a hand-colored half title. The front joint has been professionally restored at the head. The extremities are mildly rubbed. The spine is darkened (gilt tooling is still quite bright), and the leather on the front cover near the spine is a bit mottled. With a library label on the front pastedown.
