608; [8]pp. Octavo [22 cm] Green cloth over boards with lettering and decorative stamping in blind and gilt on the spine and covers. Pale yellow endpapers. Frontispieces of the Mormon leaders and the Salt Lake Temple. With the map at the front (with a number of closed tears along the edges and folds). Seven pages of publisher's advertisements at the rear. The extremities heavily rubbed and the hinges are split. The pages are foxed. The illustration at p. 113 is nearly completely detached. There is a loss from p. 485/86, resulting in a bit of loss to the text.
