Twelve-volume set, complete as issued (multiple titles in each). Sextodecimo [17 cm] in gilt-stamped and ruled quarter maroon morocco over red cloth, with red morocco spine labels, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers, title page vignettes. Some rubbing to spines, especially at extremities; boards are crisp and unworn, with light irregular fading to two volumes; slight bubbling-up to front board cloth of one volume; light foxing (mostly to front matter), else interiors are unmarked. Faintly musty.
