96pp. Small quarto [24 cm] Tan cloth over boards, stamped in gray on the spine and front cover. The spine is a bit rolled, and the spine ends are gently bumped. From the dust jacket- "'For some six hundred years,' writes Lynd Ward, the famous book illustrator, 'there have been woodcuts and there have been artists, but only occasionally during the course of those centuries has there occurred the sensitive fusion of man and material that results in significant woodcut art. Hans Alexander Mueller is one of the rare ones.'"
