SIGNED. 348pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Red cloth over boards, stamped in gilt. The extremities are mildly soiled, and the backstrip is heavily faded and rolled. The cloth at the spine ends is frayed, and there is a 1" split in the cloth of the rear board at the head of the rear joint.
Illustrated by C. E. Chambers. Inscribed by the author on the front free endsheet. The author's inscription states, "Gladly inscribed for___, Booth Tarkington, May 31, 1930."
