SIGNED. 86pp. Quarto [27 cm] 1/4 brown cloth with light brown patterned paper over boards. The spine ends and corners of the covers are gently bumped and rubbed. The price-clipped dust jacket is tattered and torn, and has a loss from the top edge of the rear panel, measuring 3 1/2" wide by 2" deep.
Color plates of the artist's work with descriptive text. This copy is inscribed by both authors to the prominent river runner, Art Gallenson, on the title page. Gallenson was a pioneer of western commercial river running, helping to create river running expeditions in the Grand Canyon. The authors write, "Specially for Art Gallenson, who loves the Canyon too. Bill & Fran."
