Comments

Bowden laments the state of modern book collecting. Originally conceived for and given as a talk at, the grand opening of Ken Sanders Rare Books in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah in August of 1996. Published on the occasion of Bowden's visit to Salt Lake City to publicize his 2005 book, Shadow in the City.
