Signed on the title page by Roberts, with this inscription: "To ---, These are some of the stories I have heard around the campfires of the Pimeria Alta- I hope you like them. With best wishes, Gil Procter." Procter was director of the Pete Kitchen museum in Southern Arizona. Here, he records Borderland lore, including tales of lost treasure.
