With the passing of the Edmunds-Tucker Act of 1887, Many polygamists decided to remove themselves from the grasp of the Federal Government by moving to Mexico, where they believed (erroneously) polygamy was legal. This is the scarce first edition history of all of the Mormon polygamous colonies in Mexico.
