Aubrey Beardsley died when he was about to turn twenty-six. During his short life he became one of the defining figures of the fin de siecle. He redefined the limits of black and white art. He was particularly famous for his illustrations for Salome and The Yellow Book. This is a very intriguing and definitive account of Beardsley's life.
