Hardcover. 280pp. Duodecimo [ 19 cm] Blue cloth with gilt stamped titles, and a light and dark blue ink stamped vignette on the front cover. Good. The covers are rubbed and gently bumped. The spine is rolled. There are multiple tiny light stains in the front board. The rear board is subtly stained. There are moisture stains along the hinges . The larger stain is along the rear hinge, and it measures 4 and 1/2 inches tall by 2 inches wide at its widest. There is a contemporary gift inscription, along with a contemporary owner's notation, on the title page. The last two pages have a previous owner's notation. The pages are mildly browned. With eight full page illustrations by Maynard Dixon. Item #17999
