The covers are gently rubbed and they are stained along the fore edges. There are a couple of cracks in the front board along the joint. The longer split measures 3 inches. The front cover is still holding. The underlying boards are exposed along the edges. The edges of the endsheets are darkened. The front pastedown has a contemporary owner's notation.
