Gilt rolled edges. All edges gilt. Marbled endsheets. Good. The covers are rubbed. The underlying boards are just beginning to peek through at the corners. The corners are gently bumped. There is a two inch crack in the front joint at the foot of the spine. There is a contemporary owner's inscription on the front flyleaf. The text block is cracked at the title page. The bottom edges of the pages have small light moisture stains near the inside margins, more so throughout the first half of the text. Item #24206
