Hardcover. 71pp. Octavo [23 cm] Blue cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the front board, and decorative blind stamped borders on the covers. Fair condition only. The covers are heavily rubbed. The back cover has a very large dark stain, and a couple of smaller stains. The front cover has multiple subtle stains. There is a 5 inch tear in the backstrip of the spine, and the cloth at the spine ends is frayed. The underlying boards are peeking through at the corners. There is a small dark stain on the top edge of the text block. The hinges are broken, and the text block is coming away from the covers. There is a contemporary owner's brief notation on the front free endsheet. There are very small light stains occasionally on the pages. Facsimile #2 has been torn in half, and also has a smaller tear along a fold. Both these tears have been backed with clear tape. Item #24590

In addition to the material in the 1851 edition, revisions to the book of Moses were made from Joseph Smith's revision of the holy scriptures.
