The front cover is cracked along the joint. The edges of the covers are rubbed. The spine is faded. The leather at the spine ends is chipped. There are a couple of closed tears and a chip in the leather of the spine. The tears measure 2 to 2 1/2 inches. The underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. Despite these flaws, the book is sturdy. There is a library label on the front pastedown. The pages are mildly browned. A sheet of lined paper with contemporary notations has been mounted to the rear pastedown. Item #25137
