Hardcover. 603pp. Thick quarto [29.5 cm] Olive green cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine, and a gilt stamped bust on the front cover. Good. The covers are rubbed and gently bumped. There is a 4 inch long thin patch of newspaper adhered to the rear board. There is a 5 inch split in the cloth along the rear joint of the spine, and there is a 1/2 inch split in the cloth at the head of the spine. The cloth at the spine ends is slightly frayed. The subject of the report has been handwritten on the spine. There is a former owner's ink stamp on the front free endsheet. The fore edges of the last several pages are creased. The text block is cracked multiple times, however it is still quite sturdy. Pages mildly browned. The map at p. 249 is torn, but present. Item #25742
