Both volumes are in very good condition. The edges of the spine and covers are very gently rubbed. One of the spines is subtly rolled forward, and the other spine is ever so slightly rolled back. The front free endsheets and title pages have a former owner's blind stamps. Pages mildly browned. The dust jackets are in very good condition. Lightly rubbed and soiled. The edges are bumped, heavily chipped, and have numerous closed tears. The longest closed tear measures 1 and 1/4 of an inch long. The editors' names have been written in pen on the spines, and there is a short, thin mark on the paper at the foot of the spine of volume 1. The jacket of volume 2 has multiple light scratches. The longest scratch measures 6 inches long. The dust jacket of volume 1 is price-clipped. Item #29981
