Hardcover. 310pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Dark brown cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title and vignette on the spine, and elaborate blind stamped decorative patterns on the covers. Decorative endsheets. Good. The spine and covers are gently rubbed. The spine is rolled. The underlying boards are exposed very occasionally along the edges. There are small losses from the cloth at the ends of the spine. There is also a large tear in the cloth at the head of the spine. The edges of the text block have numerous very small light stains. There is a former owner's bookplate on the front pastedown. Tiny numerical notation on the front flyleaf. Contemporary notation on the verso of the frontispiece page. The pages are browned. The text block is cracked multiple times. Item #30529
